Rehearsals 4/3/11

The Genesian Players have been asked to perform a song at the annual school Oration Contest next Thursday, April 7th.  I would like the entire cast, and any crew members who would like to join us, to sing "Belle."  We will do this as a song, with no stage movement or choreograhpy.  We will rehearse this coming Sunday, so all chorus and principle characters need to be there, and again, I want to invite any crew members who'd like to sing with us to come and rehearse as well.  We will perform wearing blue jeans and our new Beauty and the Beast Cast & Crew Tee-shirts, which we plan to distribute next week. This will give us our first taste of performing together for an audience, and it will give us a chance to promote the show.
Rehearsals then, will be:
SUNDAY APRIL 3RD  in PLC
  • 1:30PM- 3:00PM  All chorus plus Belle, Gaston, Lefou, Silly Girls and Book Seller (and interested crew members) rehearse the song "Belle" (crew members may leave at 3pm)
  • 3:00PM- 4:00PM  All chorus, plus Belle, Silly Girls, Gaston and Lefou rehearse "Belle" and "Gaston" numbers (singing and stage movement/choreography)
  • 4:00PM- 5:00PM  All chorus finish blocking "Be Our Guest" and rehearse that number
THURSDAY APRIL 7TH in PLC
  • 7:30PM - 9PM (We're trying to shorten this time based on when the actual performance takes place and will let you know)  All cast and interested crew perform "Belle" song for Oration Contest
  • (We will meet in either the chorus room behind the stage or in one of the upper rooms.  Separate email will confirm)
